Last March the Jewish Federation was putting the finishing touches on its annual Women’s Forum luncheon when the pandemic struck. Within days, the entire country was locked down, as we all tried to make sense of a world none of us imagined. And now, here we are, a year later, in a better place… But not yet entirely out of the woods.
Fast forward to May 2021. The Jewish Federation devised a way to honor our group of Women Who Make a Difference in safe way. Kim Banaji and Jason Moss drove all throughout the San Gabriel and Pomona Valleys to deliver a tribute book we had created for them. The book includes all the tributes and good wishes the community wished to our eight amazing women of valor, their bios written by their synagogues and organizations, pictures of them volunteering, and with family.
